Parkloft is a 11-story concrete and brick building with a unique feel that makes it distinct from all the other residential complexes in downtown San Diego. There are 120 residences, each of them is a one or two story luxury style loft and they range from 930-3,000 sq/ft. The best features of these lofts are the high ceilings, their exposed concrete walls and ductwork than give them a trendy industrial feel and the fact that they are plenty spacious. These lofts also include hardwood floors, marble countertops in the bathrooms, granite kitchen counters, and sub-zero refrigerators.
Overall the Parkloft lofts serve as large canvases for its residents to display what calls to them. Whether they create their own walls or used the blank walls to display extravagant artwork. In 2012 a majority of the complexes building was restored due to poor water sealing so now each of the bathrooms has their own unique designs.
